I feel proud to have had the opportunity to successfully complete the BA. Leaving school early to embark on my military career has meant I’ve felt a sense of ‘unfinished business’.

When I left school I actually started a university degree but left after my first year to pursue a dream of becoming an airline pilot.

RPL was my only option, in the current system, as I didn’t have a level 8 undergrad.

I thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience, learning new skills through practical and educational learning. I had never been to college, so I felt I had accomplished something great in an area of work that I love.

My degree has given me vital tools that I apply in my everyday working life. This significant benefit started after I finished my first module in year 1 and continued right throughout the 4 years.
