RPL Digital Badge Receives Overwhelmingly Positive Evaluation

The RPL Digital Badge, developed through the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and delivered five times between Spring 2023 and Spring 2025, has been evaluated with outstanding results. Drawing on 175 survey responses (44% response rate), participants overwhelmingly agreed that the badge met its learning outcomes and was professionally delivered.

Key findings include:

• 96% overall satisfaction rate
• 98% rated facilitators and guest speakers as highly knowledgeable
• 97% found the workload appropriate and well-paced
• 96% agreed the online materials enhanced learning

Feedback from participants emphasised the value of peer learning, flexibility of delivery, and relevance to professional practice across education contexts. One participant shared:

“This was a really great programme. The content was excellent and it really enhanced my understanding of RPL in both the FE and HE sectors.”
